I use two different kinds of rings to create my jewelry:
Stainless Steel - durable, tarnish-resistant, hypoallergenic
Anodized Aluminum - provides colored affect, light weight, nickel-free
crochet and other handmade pieces should be hand-washed in cold water and laid flat to dry
